About Chairperson

“Education without righteousness is meaningless”. That is why our tradition is to impart not merely academic proficiency but truly value based education. We are passing through turbulent times everything is changing very fast. Modernization has become the hit ‘Mantra of the Day’. However, the ever increasing influence of westernization and globalization, has  no doubt stimulated our minds and  seems to pull us in opposite directions. One gets understandably confused and bewildered. At such critical moments the moral strength lent by old age eternal wisdom and inherited values enable us to distinguish between right and wrong and select the right path. This is the reason we make all possible efforts to nurture, not merely intelligence and physical quotient of youngsters but also their ethical and spiritual sight. The road to glory and the journey towards excellence is never free from hard work and hurdles. Nonetheless, there is a large piece of ‘Fortune in every misfortune. Remain steadfast in your aim, honest in your efforts and firm in your determination and success will surely be yours!” I always repeat in my mind Robert Frost’s famous lines:

“But I have promises to keep,  And miles to go before I sleep”

One immediately gets obsessed talking to this young dynamic lady. A Post Graduate in Pre-Primary Education, Mrs. Pooja Malhotra has had a brilliant academic background and in her recognition of her talent and achievements, has won number of awards at various levels for her hard work in the field of education and social welfare. To her credit is the Dedication Award presented by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister of J&K State, Rajiv Gandhi Shromani Award, awarded to her by His Excellency Shri Sayeed Sibtey Rizvi, Governor of Jharkhand for outstanding individual achievements and distinguished services for the nation in August 2006 at New Delhi. Recently, She received Pride of India award from his Excellency Governor of Rajasthan for her outstanding services to the nation at Jaipur.

All these awards reflect her endeavor and inner passion to carve out success for her self under challenging circumstances which can be illustrated by her soul and individual efforts made for establishing a Pre Primary school in Jammu in 1991. With her dedication and hard work, she has to her credit establishment and functioning of a T.S (10+2) Public School, E.T.T./N.T.T. training institute under the nomenclature of T.S. Success will not come easily and requires strong determination and well defined goals  and not  everyone  is   able  to   realize  a  dream  as  a  physical    reality. Mrs. Pooja Malhotra has done more than that by laying a yard stick in the field of education through establishment and functioning of the above mentioned pioneer educational institutions.

As a Chairperson of Taawish Educational Institutions, the road map prepared by her for years to come is taking these pioneer institutions to greater heights of achievements.
